Funding Application Criteria

Projects must be consistent with Rotary values and:

  • Projects must benefit a significant number of citizens, the Chilliwack community at large, or smaller groups in special circumstances

  • Priority is given to one-time funding applications

  • Projects that would normally be funded via other sources such as government, school districts, etc. will only be considered if funded in cooperation with other funding sources or matching grants

  • Sub groups, departments of large organizations, and individual schools must direct their application through their parent organization

  • Financial statements may be requested in support of applications

  • Service Projects should clearly identify opportunities to '“brand” the Rotary Club of Chilliwack’s financial support, through the use of club name and logo in promotional material, newsletter and/or social media. We will supply appropriate logos for your use.

Chilliwack Rotary will not fund:

  • annual campaigns or appeals for fundraising

  • support for operations

  • reduction of debts

  • sales ventures
